I’m much in demand for chairing & presenting, whether it’s a large public policy conference for Holyrood Events; a literary festival such as Glasgow’s AyeWrite!, or more intimate chat show style evenings.
The key to an excellent event is one where the audience feel relaxed and secure: that’s where I come in.
I meet with you first to discuss what you want to achieve from your event. This is where my BBC production background comes in particularly useful.
- Attention to detail is one of my strengths, as is thorough research and planning
- I know about the importance of keeping to time
- I’m experienced at handling different personalities, from captains of industry to celebrities and politicians…and everyone in-between
- The key to success is to remain calm, even when external events overtake you
“Liz takes the time to work with us and learn as much as she can about the event and the people involved before the day itself. This helps our events run smoothly and to time and also ensures our delegates get the most from their experience. An excellent chair who keeps the discussions flowing!”
Ms Erin Townhill , Conference Research Manager, Holyrood Communications
“A well run and organised event. The Chair was fantastic keeping everything flowing according to the agenda. An enjoyable day with lots of learning and points for reflection.”
